Repeal "Don't Ask, Don't Tell" now!

If you read one thing from here in the next year, please read this. And, be sure to go here, too.

Though I've not yet seen any coverage in the press, yesterday, Marty Meehan (D-MA) was scheduled to reintroduce legislation to repeal "Don't Ask, Don't Tell." Regardless of what you think about the military or military service, this is bad law. Bad, bad, bad.

This photo, from the second link above, is priceless - shrub visiting and honoring a war veteran, not knowing that the man he is visiting is gay.

I can't imagine this ignorant policy lasting much longer. We really are a backwards nation.
