I didn't watch, but, apparently, the Reverend Gene Robinson's invocation at the inaugural concert was not broadcast. And, also apparently, the Gay Men's Chorus was not identified as such. If you're at all interested in the latest dust-up, go here and take time to read the comments.
In other things inaugural, the department with which I'm affiliated has "Chili Tuesdays" to raise money for breast cancer organizations. We volunteered to bring dessert this week. We're going to bring something called a "Texas Sheet Cake" with a note that it is in celebration of Bush's (permanent) return to Texas. Yeah, I'll figure out a way to work it tactfully, but I think everyone is pretty much in agreement.
Hopefully I can post more soon, but things have been crazy busy. We're home today on our fourth school closure, so we'll see what the day brings.

I read elsewhere (and unfortunately forgot where, so this may not be correct) that he was scheduled to speak at 2:30, and Obama and Biden were scheduled to arrive at 2:50.
