Canada Day Redux

A few snapshots from Fredericton's Canada Day parade...

Pipes and drums - my favorite.

The Green Party, right behind the Fredericton Filipino Community.

Chinese community members and the dragon.

That's 7YO - yeah, the one leaning over - on the Round-Up.

We went over to the river around noon, hearing the 21-gun salute as we walked. 7YO went in one of those bouncy moon-walk things and then we ate - hot dogs, soda, samosa, garlic naan, and kettle corn. Then, 7YO discovered the Round-Up. Since we're living only about six blocks away, we came back for a break and went over to the pool to cool off. It's only about six blocks, if that, in the other direction. Just before 4:00 we went back to watch the parade. Then, another visit to the Round-Up. We wandered a bit and came home for dinner. Still don't know if we'll make it to the fireworks. Ah, the suspense!

Hope you had a great day!
