Greetings from Montreal!

I don't know where to begin. I love this country. And, yes, Quebec is still Canada.

I flew in late this afternoon to attend the LGBT Human Rights Conference that is being held in conjunction with the 1st Annual Outgames. While waiting in line at Customs the TV screens had "Welcome to the Outgames" images - FROM THE GOVERNMENT OF QUEBEC! Like that would happen in the US. One of the columns in the middle of the baggage carousel had a poster around it - rainbow flag, Outgames logo, etc. While walking in one part of the airport there was a "sticker" on the floor that was a rainbow "strip" with something like "1, 2, 3, let's go" on it. It's just so fabulous.

Well, I'm tired and don't have much more to report - got our accreditation and materials, had dinner, made our way back to the hotel. I'll write more as I'm able. The conference begins the middle of tomorrow afternoon and goes into the evening.

Meanwhile - Canada rocks!

It's great that you're in our future homeland . . . . I'm in Vancouver for a few weeks and you're right: "Canada Rocks!"

Enjoy your visit and look forward to when we can all be here permanently . . .
