There went summer...

Been entertaining, traveling, dealing with contractors, trying to get fall classes up and running... but this morning I decided to resurrect Traveling Without Unraveling.

I don't know how much posting I'll be able to do here in the next few weeks. I'm home with 8YO and trying to do school prep. On 22 August we leave for a week in L'Anse-St.-Jean on the Saguenay. We're staying at Les Gites du Fjord, but hope to spend a day in Quebec City. If you've been there and have any tips regarding "must sees," please let me know!

We return on 29 August and on the 30th I leave for Saint Paul. I plan to arrive on 2 September, with the faculty conference taking place on the 3rd. Fearing that if I waited until I got there to make plans I'd see no one, I've booked almost every single breakfast, lunch, and dinner with someone I want to see. In between I'll do some of the stuff I need to be on campus to do, do some shopping, etc. My mother flies in on 9 September and we'll head from the airport to Madison, WI. She's riding back to Fredericton with me. We should arrive on the 12th. She's here for almost a month. On 9/10 October we'll drive down to Boston and she'll fly out on the 11th. We'll head back on either the 11th or on the 12th, Thanksgiving.

So, needless to say, whether I post much between now and then is up in the air. But, I will check in on facebook and I will try to post a little something about my travels on Traveling Without Unraveling. Enjoy the rest of your summer! Oh, and if you have tips on snowblowers, feel free to send 'em my way!
