ETD 36 hours+

I can't believe I haven't had time to post. Chalk it up to packing, head/chest cold, packing, bum knees, packing, house guest, packing, house guest's Great Dane, packing, house guest's small dog, packing, mom's arrival, packing, bum shoulder, packing... You get the idea. I've tried to glance at others' blogs, but no time to actually think so that I can write.

We're scheduled to pick up the truck tomorrow afternoon and load some tomorrow evening, some Thursday morning, and drive just four hours Thursday afternoon/evening to get on the road. Looking around I don't know how it will happen. I know that it will, but I'm not sure how. I can barely walk up or down stairs. That has really slowed things down.

Oh, well. I'm hoping to post from the road. I should have more time then than I've had here!

We're feelin' for you, as we've just been through it. As for having more time to post on the road: Maybe not. If you're anything like us, you'll be too tired to post after driving all day.

Weird about that bum knee thing. Mine went out today, also. Maybe it's a sympathy thing.

We'll be watching for updates . . . .

Just mentioned to J that West End Bob posted their journey and that you two were leaving in two days!

The packing and moving thing will be a huge challenge for me as well. I have to figure out my game plan. We definately won't be unloading anything at 7am anywhere, and I don't see packing and traveling in the same day. But, when the time comes, we'll do whatever it takes to get us there and your having shared your experience will inspire us along the way!

Good luck with the packing. Those heat wraps work wonders on my knee and back. Post when you can and know that we both are wishing you a safe, problem-free journey!

Have a safe journey. I hope you feel better. Once you cross the border instant happy feelings sink in...I promise.

Hey, my knee has been giving me fits for a week! Sympathy pains? You will be there in no time.

We'll be thinking about you. We can relate to the packing and the sense of "how is this going to happen?" Please do keep us updated as you can ... and take as good care as you can ...

Not to repeat myself but,

Are we there yet?
