Happy New Year

It's 9:38 Central Standard Time. That means that it's almost midnight in Fredericton. Having been born in New York, I often think of 11 pm as my "real" midnight. Makes it easier to go to bed before the clock at home strikes twelve. Yeah, big party-gals are we. So, maybe tonight we'll use 10 pm as midnight - in anticipation of our new home. But, before then... it's the rest of our fifth episode of Corner Gas. We absolutely love this show. Just when we decide to try to become a television-free household... Bummer.

Nonetheless, I just wanted to wish everyone a happy new year for 2008! May the coming year bring you everything you desire.

After a great conversation with Mary & Diane from Victoria this evening, I went back out to the dock and shot off more fireworks - Yeah, a redneck, I know!

Glad to see that you enjoy Corner Gas as much as "drf" and I do. WGN out of Chicago plays one episode every night and two episodes on Wednesdays.

Gotta love that.

Happy, Happy" to You and Yours ! ! ! !

Happy New Year too!

Hi, I am Christine. Mom of a 11-month-old baby. I've been a long-time reader of this site. (I enjoy Corner Gas too btw ;-)

I am writing to ask for your help to join private testing on my husband's new social networking website called VOOEASY.com. The site just released its private beta version for limited testing on January 1. We need some early users to join and help make this site better, together.

VooEasy is an innovative social network site which is very different to Facebook and MySpace. It allows people to "speak up" as *TEAMS* rather than individuals. For instance, I am a part-time student in a community college and a full-time mom. I am also a member of a community social dancing club, as well as a singer in a local choir. I can choose to speak up as myself, or "on behalf of" a member of the dancing club, or a member of the choir. I can created teams for each of my life circles (and spent some time to design cool team “VooCards” for each team) and invite my people to join the respective teams!

VooEasy's headline is "show all the colors in your life." All of these are totally separate circles of friends. VooEasy will be the first place to integrate them all into ONE. Try it! You'll be surprised how much fun it gets.

For now, VooEasy will only provide a total of 5 (five) beta test accounts for readers of Two Moms to Canada. Please follow the following URL to receive the testing beta code to try this site.

If you are early to be one of the early users, don't waste it. You can actually "spawn" out other invitation letter. There will be no limit on the number of invitations you can send. So, please be generous. You can send out invitation emails to friends and family, and everyone can start playing on VooEasy!

Thanks for taking time to read this message. We really appreciate your help!
